SALEM: Cotton Mather's Latin Malum Illustrations

Cotton Mather represents the human experience when education meets experience. His understanding and response to witchcraft and its practitioners has grown and shifted drastically throughout the series; even from despising John Alden to endearing to him as a dear friend. He loved, he fought, he cried, and he rejoiced, but through it all, his love for fellow man stayed true. After being haunted with the reality of the Malum, Cotton referenced these illustrations to better understand the impending doom. This item can be seen in episode twelve of season one.
